Nicole Farhi SS12 collection

Lately I have gotten so into the Nicole Farhi S/S 12 collection. I used to consider the brand as being too mature for myself and the younger age group but I guess I was wrong. For the S/S collection, the designer brand has introduced, or more or less like the other brands, adopted the pastel colour. The creamy yellow top is my favourite, not to mention the perfect cutting on the neck and the sleeves, indeed a perfect combination with the pure white shorts and sandals.

Speaking about the white shorts, I have been looking for a version like them on the high street for a very long time and as devastating to say, I still haven't been able to find one similar. The same case with the white sandals, luckily last year I was able to pick up a pair of almost similar version of these white sandals but only in black, from Zara. Needless to say, the white pair is of course much better looking and appropriate for the summer... So if anyone of you lovely people see it on any websites or in shops, please let me know! LFW: Part 2

So 'Part 2'. Here are some pictures I took from the Topshop A/W 12 showroom and the international showrooms held at the Somerset house during LFW. When I saw those sunglasses organised neatly on the wall at the Topshop showroom, I knew exactly what has got to be done... Start collecting eye candys (sunglasses)!

This is just a quick post of what I wore to the Lako Bukia fashion show. Of course, also to show you my new/old bag. Why? It's new because it's a new purchase and it's old because I have already had this bag before and due to a slight accident, I had to buy this bag again. Even though both times it costed me 80 pounds, still, it feels like one of those things I cannot live without. I remember how before I bought the bag for the second time, my heart twisted inside every time I see people on the tube with this bag.

At the end, my friend and I spotted an electrical car on the street and waiting to be charged, how interesting.

PVC skirt

These photos were taken last week when I was on my way to the Australian fashion showroom, only when my friend and I arrived at the building, the staffs said they had no idea an event was on and couldn't tell us the location of the event. Of course my friend and I were not just disappointed, but more like frustrated of the unorganised arrangement. Nonetheless, this is still not stopping me from going to the rest of the showrooms, of course not. 

Tonight I will be attending the Lako Bukia Catwalk show organised by a fashion week event called the Vauxhall Fashion Scout, so, more photos this week from the show and I shall introduce you properly to Lako Bukia in a later post!

Pure London Feb 2012

London Fashion Week starts in 2 days and I am sure most of you are feeling the excitement already. My blogger friend, Chloe from Coco the blog, and I fortunately had the chance to experience the build up of excitement at the Pure London event. Pure London is a fashion buying and trading event that runs twice a year, in February and August for three days. This is definitely the event to attend if you want to meet new brands and designers.

Pure London was running for 3 days from 12th of February to 14th of February. During my two days of visit there I discovered many new and inspirational brands e.g. fount, Best Mountain, Nikita Karizma (named after the designer, who is a LCF graduate) and many more. After meeting so many inspiring brands and designers at the weekend, I have a determination to do interviews with these designers. More updates in later posts!

In between seasons

In the past 3 or maybe even 4 weeks, my life had been completely swamped with exams, I barely even had the time to eat or sleep, never mind posting anything on here! So, on monday, I met up with my blogger friend, Chloe, from Coco the blog, you can see her blog here. So Chloe kindly helped me shoot the photos for this post. 

Recently I have had difficulties deciding what to wear, seeing that the weather in London these days had been unpredictable. Last week the weather in London was rather warm so I bought this amazing black pencil skirt in a rain coat material (sounds horrible, but I promise it looks really good) and planned on showing it on my blog. Unfortunately, London decided to snow, yes, this week. So, I guess we will wait then and in the meantime I can still enjoy the excitement of wearing the lovely skirt for the first time.

Festive mood

Are you still in a festive mood? Unfortunately I wasn't able to indulge myself in festive moods for Christmas and New year last year (2011). 2011 has had its ups and downs for me indeed, being such a nostalgic person as much as I am, I wish time would go back to the beginning of 2011... Anyway, enough of the past, more on the future.

So what goals have you guys set for yourself this year?
