Everything looks better when you are happy with your life

Hello, sorry about this massive blog break! I have been really busy trying to make plans for my gap year next year. It's so much more difficult than I thought. Ahh well, life goes on.

Let's talk about my new sandal heels from Zara. I've been in a hunt for a pair of black sandal heels in god-knows-how-long. I saw these Zara ones in my early hunt and I was in doubt about them, then in the end when I decided they are in fact the perfect pair, they were sold out! Thank god I managed to get them last week due to the restock. The heels are a bit low for my liking though (3.5 inches high), so I might take them to a local shoe repairing store to see if I could change the heels to higher ones, 4.5 inches + at least!

Another recent purchase I have made is this red bag, I got it from a charity shop for 3 pounds! I can't seem to find the label so can't tell what make it is. :S

What do you think of my recent purchases?

Where is your hat??

Hat- River Island
Military dress- GAP

Just a little outfit post. I got the hat from River Island (menswear section) from a couple of weeks ago. However the weather has been horrendous recently so I've not been able to wear it until now.

I absolutely love the hat. I've browsed on websites and in shops for the 'perfect' hat and then I saw this and I was like, right, this is it. It's not got many details on it, just a bit of strings tied around the hat but what I actually like about it is that there are a lot of things I could do with the hat. I've thought about tying a leather belt with buckles around it, could add a daisy chain headband or use a safety pin to add a flower to it. So its simplicity is an advantage.

With T in the park coming up for you guys (as I won't be there), it would be good to bring a little playful hat to style it up and, to hide the greasy hair.

P.s Sorry I'm taking photos in my room just now because my camera tripod still hasn't arrived!

Introducing... NEWGEN & NEWGEN MEN WINNERS SS12

London's spring/summer 2012 NEWGEN & NEWGEN MEN designers have finally been revealed! Here are a few designers I particular prefer. You can see their work for SS11 above. :)

I love the Canadian designer Thomas Tait's work. I have always had a passion for clothes with the short front long back style. I have 2 short front long back dresses myself but I haven't never thought of a pair of short front long back shorts. I might try a bit of DIY soon.

I have also added a couple of the menswear designs. Menswear is just so inspiring in so many ways, see boyfriend blazer and the boyfriend style from a couple of years back for example. This is the reason why I have always kept an eye out for menswear. I'm not one to dress like a lovely lady in the first place so by adapting menswear ideas into feminine versions work out the best for me.

High street price, designer effect.

Hello! Sorry about the blog break recently. I have been unbelievably busy these days.

Anyway, I wonder how many of you girls out there like or love the famous jewellery designer Pamela Love's design? If you happen to be a big fan then you are going to love what I'm about to tell you.

Believe it or not, Pamela Love has done a collaboration with Topshop and available for purchase since the 19th of May! Which means, we can now buy Pamela Love jewellery design at some of our nearby Topshop stores, at high street prices!

Normally, Pamela Love design would cost more than £250, at Topshop, we can get some of them little heavens as cheap as £50. If you want to have a look at the collaboration, you can see the pictures above or they are also available on the website, you can see it here. :)

Have a lovely day
